Saint Patrick´s Day

Saint Patrick's Day celebrated annually on 17th March is a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland.The day commemorates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, as well as celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general. Celebrations generally involve public parades, celtic  festivals and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks.

El día de San Patricio se celebra anualmente el 17 de marzo y es el día festivo de la República de Irlanda. Se conmemora la llegada del cristianismo a Irlanda, al igual que se celebra el patrimonio y la cultura de los irlandeses en general. Las celebraciones generalmente implican desfiles públicos, festivales celtas y el uso de vestimenta verde o de tréboles.
